Turfgrass establishment on sand rootzones can be challenging. The original objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of rootzone mixtures and establishment treatment on soil physical, chemical, and biological properties with time. Reported here are serendipitous findings relating Pythium foliar blight injury associated with applied treatments.
